Oryza House is located on the edge of the village of Arnes, inside a field of olive trees.
It is the first building of a project that explores sustainability and bio-architecture. Our goal is to find a building method environmentally friendly, with low energy consumption, healthy and affordable.
The house gets its name Oryza (the generic name of the rice plant) because we used its husk as a construction material in the isolation. This agricultural product has been purchased from the rice industry in the Ebro Delta.
The Oryza House produces its own energy with a photovoltaic generation system. In fact, it generates more energy than it needs.
